Ditto Landing
Huntsville’s Ditto Landing has a rich history dating back to the early 1800’s when it was founded as the township of Whitesburg.
Once a trading post and the location of Huntsville’s first ferry service across the Tennessee River, today Ditto Landing represents water sport recreation to the near by communities of South Huntsville.
Ditto Landing now boasts a full service marina with wet slips, heated dry storage, and on-land boat and trailer storage. With its 560 acres of park like surroundings along with multiple pavilions and camp grounds, Ditto Landing is often the host of many Huntsville events and fireworks. The North Alabama Boaters Association a non-profit organization dedicated to the community fellowship among boaters is very active in the area and a great social network for local boating enthusiasts.

The Marina Park neighborhood is one of the closest Huntsville subdivisions to Ditto Landings along with Indian Ridge, Morningside, and Somerset Lake. Butler Basin
A mile and half up the Tennessee River you will find Butler Basin, the home of the only riverfront homes currently available within Huntsville city limits. The well known landmark, the Lighthouse at Great Bend marks the communities location along the river way.
