If you are not a regular reader at Better Homes & Gardens then you should be, as a regular reader I don’t think you can find a more knowledgeable group of writers and educators within the Real Estate domain. Excellent content quality and widespread use of multimedia technology.
Thus we were not surprised to learn, that Sherry Chris and team were putting together what they termed a Beta Brokerage Directory. What is a ‘Beta Brokerage’ you ask? Well here is the concept as described by Sherry:
Today, the next generation of real estate brokerages are surfacing all across America. Some might be in your marketplace. Attracting new customers. Using self-built technology. Open source apps acquired from the cloud. Building meaningful brands. Reaching the public in new and different ways.
Who are these brokerages? What’s different about them? Can we learn anything from them? We’ve created this directory to begin bringing the answers to life. Discover who these companies are. Go to school on them. Embrace them as they are all part of the great fabric that is the real estate industry.
Personally, I am already going to school on the 1st 25 brokerages selected and will be monitoring the Beta Brokerage Directory regularly as it grows and adds membership. As the Proverb states, ‘As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another’; thus we all can learn from what the Better Homes & Gardens team has graciously put together.
