Giving … isn’t that what life is all about? I suppose the “takers” in life don’t realize the gift of giving or rather, don’t appreciate the feelings that come along with being a giver. Fortunately, I do and so do all of my @ Homes Realty Group agents.
This year @ Homes Realty will once again be supporting the Georgia-Alabama Make a Wish foundation. I am not only a board member, but more importantly, a very proud sponsor. I have always believed in giving back to the communities that support us, and giving back we do. Call it a Karma thing!
Our Local Kids – Need Your Support
We support many local charities but our largest is Make A Wish. Sadly, there are far too many children in the North Alabama area with life threatening illnesses that deserve to have a wish granted. Each wish costs approximately $7000. With over 30 children on the Wish list currently, you can do the math. These wishes are granted from donations and fund raisers…we are a busy bunch as you can well imagine!

Run For Wishes in The Village of Providence
This year I”m excited to announce our inaugural Run For Wishes in The Village of Providence October 9th from 2-5 pm. Please join us in our 5k and 1 mile fun run! This is a wonderful family opportunity to help put smiles on deserving children and their families. We have a wonderful day planned for kids as well, with a Kids Fun Zone in the Village Green. Here, you’ll find climbing walls and inflatables for jumping and some good old fashioned fun.
A special thanks to The Village of Providence for allowing us to Run For Wishes through the beautiful neo-traditional neighborhood. It’s not too late to form a team with your family, friends or coworkers! You can register here.
