I wanted to take a moment and wish all of our customers, friends, and colleagues a very Merry Christmas. To me, the holidays are a time to surround yourselves with those that mean the most to you. We are all doing just that this holiday season.
@Homes Realty Group has been very blessed this year. Being successful isn’t just about a number of transactions …to us it’s more about touching and perhaps even changing a life along the way. We hope we have touched and made a difference in several lives this year.
Our greatest moments of the year have come from giving back to our community:
- Through our involvement with the Make-A-Wish foundation we were privileged to have been contacted last month directly with a personal anonymous $7000 contribution to directly assist local children’s wishes come true. We were a sponsor of last year’s Make-A-Wish gala fundraiser and will continue our sponsorship and remain active at the local level.
- We were also delighted to assist many information requests we received for the Mana House through many email contacts from our website. Hubby tells me we have had 100’s of visitors a month over the past several months just to our blog post highlighting the Manna House and their mission. Just last week we received a website contact asking for assistance to deliver 500 gift packages to the Mana House.
- Some of our best moments came just a couple of weeks ago when our local office addopted a few local families for Christmas this year.
As I sit hear surrounded by those that I love so much, I remember that many are not as lucky.
If you have the time or means, why not reach out to someone in need this year? It doesn’t have to be financial…it could be a simple phone call to let them know you are thinking of them. Many people don’t have the gifts of family as we do. The greatest gift a person can give is love.
Thank you to all of our past and present clients and our many dedicated readers. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2011 and wish the same to you.
Happy Holidays from our homes to yours!
