The University of Alabama at Huntsville (UAH) anchors the east side of the park and serves as a comprehensive research resource with more than 7,000 students, and over 50% of graduates earning degrees in science or engineering.<\/p>\n

With some 220 corporations active in the park targeting more than 40 separate technology fields, the park’s tenants reads like the Who’s-Who of the country’s technology, defense, and aerospace industries, including 20 Fortune 500 companies typified by the likes of\u00a0 Adtran, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, SAIC, Teledyne Brown, and the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.<\/p>\n

Living In and Around Research Park<\/h3>\n

If you are one that enjoys living conveniently near your workplace, then the Research Park Area<\/strong> may be just your cup of tea. Given that the park has been operational for some 40 years there are a wide variety of neighborhoods and homes ranging from luxury condos to first-time starter homes and all price ranges in between.<\/p>\n

Choices include high-rise Condos at the Westin<\/a> located within the park itself, directly in the center of one of the most popular (and my fav) shopping areas in the city, Bridge Street<\/strong>. However this in noway implies a limitation because there are many neighborhoods and subdivisions directly adjacent to the park including, Creekwood<\/a>, Midtowne On The Park<\/a>, Potters Mill<\/a>, and Sherwood Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n
