Meet the @Homes Realty agents. Who are they?\u00a0 Givers.\u00a0 Period.\u00a0 When I opened @ Homes Realty Group,\u00a0 I only knew one thing for sure.\u00a0\u00a0 The Realtors that work with @Homes WILL be givers, or they likely won\u2019t work with us.\u00a0 Quite simple really.\u00a0 I believe that \u201canyone\u201d can sell a house and with enough education and training, a Realtor\u00ae can be successful.\u00a0 On the other hand, I believe a kind and loving heart can\u2019t be taught.\u00a0 People have the desire to love and give back, or they don\u2019t.<\/p>\n
Selling homes is about so much more than Real Estate.\u00a0 @Homes Realty Group<\/a> believes it\u2019s also about the relationships we form along the way.\u00a0\u00a0 How in the world can you not spend so much time with someone and experience the highs and lows of the most important transaction of their lives without REALLY caring about them?\u00a0\u00a0 We haven\u2019t figured that out yet, and we hope we never do! <\/strong>We all love what we do and strive to go above and beyond for our clients.\u00a0 We want to take care of them and make sure their interests are protected.\u00a0 I feel like we\u2019ve done a pretty darn good job of doing that!<\/p>\n [slideshow id=97]<\/p>\n This weekend, we had the pleasure of giving back to our community.\u00a0 We had our first annual Christmas for kids.\u00a0 As a group, we all (@Homes agents) felt strongly about making a difference in someones life around the holiday season. It began with a call to Christmas Charities<\/a> here in Huntsville.\u00a0\u00a0 We needed 8 kids, one for each of us.\u00a0 8 is what we got!<\/p>\n It broke our hearts to speak to the parents of these beautiful children.\u00a0 They ARE worthy but down on their luck this year.\u00a0 Many have lost their jobs, or overcoming serious illness\u2019s.\u00a0 What a blessing that we could step in and make their lives a bit easier, if even for a day.<\/p>\n My \u201cparent\u201d was a single mother who lost her oldest child last year, who was just 8.\u00a0 He was hit by a car while waiting for the bus.\u00a0\u00a0 She was devastated over the holidays last year and they had no Christmas.\u00a0 She couldn\u2019t afford it.\u00a0 She had to pay to bury her son.\u00a0 She had big plans for this year, wanting to make it up to her 3 surviving children.\u00a0 Sadly, she lost her job in October.\u00a0 She was crushed.\u00a0 The thoughts of no Christmas again for her kids was almost more than she could take.\u00a0 When I called her to let her know we had adopted her family, she wept.\u00a0 I then wept with her.\u00a0\u00a0 On a happy note, she started a new job last night!<\/p>\n Our Christmas party was an event to remember.\u00a0 We\u2019ll never forget the smiles on these kids faces and the tears in the parents eyes.\u00a0 After eating far too much pizza and singing Christmas songs, the kids were thrilled to get their stockings and couldn\u2019t WAIT to open a gift.\u00a0 The remaining gifts were sent home with the parents so they could have the pride in watching their children enjoy the wonder of Christmas as a family.\u00a0 They deserve that.<\/p>\n From toy kitchens, baby dolls, basketballs and bikes, to socks and underpants, these families are going to have a wonderful Christmas morning when they see the joy on their children\u2019s faces, knowing that Santa DOES exist.\u00a0 We @Homes Realty Group<\/a> will also have a wonderful Christmas knowing we have put hope in these parents hearts.<\/p>\n We are all humbled to have been able to make a difference.\u00a0 I am humbled in knowing that my agents have such wonderful hearts.\u00a0\u00a0 I am truly blessed!<\/p>\n – Elizabeth<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Meet the @Homes Realty agents.
