He now serves as a program analyst for the Office of Command Contracting.Harrington has 23 years in civil service and 31 years as an Army Reservist.  As a lieutenant colonel (promotable) with 8<sup>th<\/sup> Army Korea, Harrington\u2019s assignments have stationed him all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am extremely excited to be part of AMC.  When I first learned about [AMC&#8217;s] BRAC while I was with TACOM in Michigan, joining the organization became one of my long-range goals.  I am happy to be here and look forward to spearheading this move for the rest of the organization,\u201d said Harrington.<\/p>\n<p>Harrington, a native of Little Rock, Ark., holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in business from Northwood University and a master\u2019s from the University of Central Michigan.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 121px; height: 153px\" align=\"right\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" width=\"121\">\n<tr>\n<td><em><a href=\"\/\/hqamcbrac.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/03\/maj-roderic-spencer.jpg\" title=\"maj-roderic-spencer.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/hqamcbrac.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/03\/maj-roderic-spencer.thumbnail.jpg\" class=\"right\" alt=\"maj-roderic-spencer.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/em><em>Maj. Roderic Spencer<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p>Maj. Roderic Spencer (promotable) joined HQAMC-Forward in February.  Spencer previously served as the secretary of the general staff for the Space and Missile Defense Command, Redstone, and has 22 years of military service.Spencer\u2019s assignments have included Fort Carson, Colo., Fort Polk, La., Germany, Bosnia and the Army Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, Washington, D.C. where he served under then Lt. Gen. Benjamin Griffin.<\/p>\n<p>Spencer, an Alabama native, now serves as a force developer for AMC Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, G-3\/5.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited (to be with AMC).  When I was assigned to SMDC as Force Structure Chief I worked some of the BRAC issues as we were transitioning our headquarters to Huntsville so I\u2019m looking forward to working some of those same issues at AMC.
