The\u00a0Historic District in Huntsville\u00a0has 3 defining areas,\u00a0Twickenham<\/strong>,\u00a0Old Town,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Five Points<\/strong>\u00a0and each area has a distinct street sign so you always know where you are.<\/p>\n

If you live in\u00a0Huntsville\u00a0and have not taken the time to visit our own piece of history, don\u2019t wait any longer. If you are visiting our fine city, I would put this on my list of things to see here in\u00a0Huntsville Alabama.<\/p>\n

Five Points District<\/h3>\n

\"OLYMPUS<\/a>You will know you are in Five Points with all of its street signs distinctive marked with a 5 point star.\u00a0Five Points Historic District\u00a0was the third historic district to be designated in Huntsville, Alabama.<\/p>\n

It features homes built around the turn of the 20th Century in several styles, including Bungalow and Victorian styles and also Cape Cod\u2019s, dating from the late 1890’s through the early 1900’s.\u00a0The neighborhood still retains its 19th century grid layout of broad, parallel streets.\u00a0 Tree lined streets add to the charm.<\/p>\n
