Highland Park – No It’s not a Restaurant!<\/h3>\n

I feel like I’m writing a restaurant review and no its not Highland Park Birmingham<\/a>, its so different. As a Realtor\u00ae<\/strong>, I drive all over North Alabama showing homes from\u00a0$60,000 to $2million. Some of them are lovely and some… not so much.<\/p>\n

So I get really excited when I find something new and fabulous<\/strong>. Such is the case with my new favorite little community in the Owens Cross Roads – Hampton Cove area — sweet and serene Highland Park<\/strong>. Stumbled upon it just this week with two different sets of buyers. I’m calling Highland Park<\/strong> my new jewel over the mountain.<\/p>\n

Location, Location, Location<\/h3>\n

Literally Yards from the brand new (and architecturally stunning) Goldsmith-Schiffman Elementary School<\/a>,\u00a0Highland Park<\/strong> is located at the southern end of what I call the Taylor Road corridor to the east of Green Mountain. For anyone not familiar with this area, it is truly a mecca for buyers. Just west of the\u00a0Goldsmith-Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary, this area offers plenty of of kid-friendly sidewalks and level terrain.<\/p>\n

In my opinion, the best value in the\u00a0neighborhood right now is a brand new 3,007sqft home priced at only $254,900. That equates\u00a0to $85 per square foot for a brand new home<\/strong> built by an established, respected builder. Outstanding!<\/p>\n
