West Madison Alabama
If you haven’t traveled West on Highway 72 lately, you may be shocked by what you see!
Many native to the Huntsville area remember when it was nothing more than an open road stretching as far as the eye can see.
Now, it’s almost become a destination in and of itself, anchoring the fast growing communities in West Madison City.

Growing Commercial and Shopping Areas
Most of the growth in this area stems from the new Madison Hospital, which is a welcome addition to the Madison community. An extension of Huntsville Hospital, the Madison Hospital provides emergency, imaging, maternity, intensive care, and surgical services, bringing a welcome relief to residents west of Enterprise Way.

In addition to the new hospital, the West Madison community is now home to it’s own Target shopping center, Petco, Pie in the Sky Pizza, Smashburger, and a new Wal-Mart – just to name a few things. I have it on good authority that the sushi at Publix on County Line could stand against that at any Japanese restaurant in town.
Several Neighborhoods to Choose From
We have seen major growth in the West Madison community over the past three years, including a lot of new construction. Subdivisions like: Creekside at Hardiman Place, Mill Creek, Rolling Meadows, and Browns Ferry Crossing typically fall into the unique “Madison City, Limestone County” property lines.
If you are looking for new construction, a short commute to Research Park or Redstone Arsenal, give West Madison City a try!
