If the value of a community can be measured by it’s reverence of the arts, Huntsville, AL is definitely priceless!
The Huntsville Arts Council works tirelessly to promote and cultivate new ways to experience the arts and their brainchild, Panoply, has become a treasured Huntsville tradition.
Panoply:
1: A magnificent or impressive array “the full panoply of a military funeral”
2: A fantastic, fun-filled weekend full of funnel cakes, arts & crafts, music, and shows for the whole family in Huntsville, AL ‘s Big Spring Park!
Panoply – Where Everyone is an Artist
Panoply has all the makings of a classic street festival: ice cream, hot dogs, fried – anything, along with great music and shows. What separates Panoply from your “run of the mill” street festival is the variety of creative and interactive activities allowing festival goers of any age to participate in the arts. At Panoply, everyone is an artist!
There are also opportunities to engage in the performing arts, such as the “Get Rhythm tent”, “Discover Music Tent” and “Panoply Percussion”, allowing participants to experiment with and even create their own instruments!
Have a budding “stage ham” or “dancer” in your group?
This is also a great way to get in touch with and involved in our local Huntsville theatre groups, as almost all of them have performances throughout Panoply weekend.

Tickets are available via the arts council in advance, and are only $5 per day, or $10 per weekend. We encourage everyone to come out and experience the fine arts in Huntsville, first hand!
