Hampton Station
Location, location, location …I have always felt that Hampton Station and its neighboring subdivisions just have a great location. A few miles to the east and you’re in Hampton Cove and a premium is to be paid. Up and over Huntsville Mountain you enter Jones Valley and there is another premium to be paid.
Mind you I understand the reasons for the premium prices in these areas of town, but if the goods you receive for the premium doesn’t float your boat then why pay them? After all Hampton Station has the exact same school district assignments as Hampton Cove; Hampton Cove Elementary School, Hampton Cove Middle School. Moreover its Huntsville High School assignment is identical to both Hampton Cove and Jones Valley. So unless you looking at a golf front home or other amenity that they bring to the table, be sure to check out the various neighborhoods of Huntsville’s Owens Cross Road area depending on your price range.

Hampton Station does have some nice mountain views from its valley floor location and you can get over the mountain either using Governors or Ceciel Ashburn Drives depending on what part of town you are coming or headed for.
