The “@” sign has become a symbol for our quickly evolving world of technology. It’s hard to remember a time when “@” was all but defunct. (Much like it’s hard to remember a time before cell phones, GPS, Amazon Prime…etc) We were saddened to learn of the passing of the man who is credited with saving the “@”, and creating email as we know it today. We began to wonder, what is the true significance of the “@” in “@Homes”.

For this gentleman, “@” was a simple, concise way to distinguish between a person (a user) and a destination (web address). In a way, it almost gives new life and meaning to our brand when you look at “@Homes” as the connecting piece bridging the gap between a person (buyer or seller) to their destination ( a home they love)! Sure, there’s a lot of hard work that goes in between – but it’s something that we take in stride because our agents genuinely love what they do. The hours, the miles, the late nights and early mornings, are all washed away by the satisfaction of knowing that we’ve enriched the life of another person. In a way, this tiny symbol encompasses all that we do. We are ALL about the “@”.
