QR Codes for Huntsville Real Estate
In our present Internet world of mobile phones, texting, and instant messaging, it is no surprise that another application is emerging on the scene: QR Codes. Needless to say, QR stands for “Quick Response” and this technology fits perfectly into today’s world where everything is about fast instant information. Thus I am proud to announce yet another application of QR Codes for our Huntsville Real Estate signs. We are thrilled to be the first Real Estate company in the area to use them. We at the @ Homes Realty Group are forward thinking and this is definitely forward thinking!
What is a QR Code you ask?
Without going in to great detail, a QR Code can be scanned from any smart phone and will give you detailed information about the product being scanned, very similar to bar codes but with Internet connectivity. Our product just happens to be homes, and scanning the code on our yard signs or flyers takes you directly to an Internet based detailed listing of property attributes or in some cases a single property website with abuntant information.
Explaining it a little better, you will need a web-enabled smart phone like an IPhone, Droid, Blackberry, etc along with its FREE associated QR Code App from Itunes, etc. When you have the software installed on the phone, you can scan a picture of the QR Code wherever you see them, like on our yard signs or property flyers. Whenever you scan one,you are taken to a web page with full listing details, color photos, and other information about the home and neighborho.
The great thing about these yard signs may be the “cool factor” and also the ease with which a prospective home buyer can get to a web-page with color photos and full detail information regarding a listing. However, there is also a great side effect benefit in that you don’t even need to post the QR Code at your home. You could place these QR Codes anywhere like a public bullitin borad at work, perhaps at local home improvement show, etc. Bottom line is distribute the QR Codes creatively and your listing gets enhanced web traffic!
Why QR Codes?
Why the heck not! Our jobs are to market our homes and this just brought marketing to a whole new level in the Huntsville Real Estate Market. Pull up to a home, scan the QR code and it will take you directly to the web page custom built for that property. Information at your fingertips, literally.

I’m trying to design an offer featuring QR Codes for local real estate market here in western France. Our edge is to be able to place a custom slideshow or video behind each code, followed by a contact form.
As you clearly are an early adopter of this new mode of communication in real estate, would it be possible for us to get in touch to help me define my offer better (especially what type of services I need to offer and how much they can reasonably cost)?
